Pipeline Road Trail

Trailhead access from James Street

Distance:
1.3 miles
Location: Urban forest from James Street at Williamsport Road to the east beyond City limits to Market Road in Svensen

Trailhead Access: Eastern end of James Street.

Allowed Use: multiple use (hard surfaced), currently includes ATV and motorbike use. Gate limits access to non-authorized vehicles.

Description: Connector road. Paved, then gravel surfaced road through Urban Forest. Provides access to Reservoir. Some topographical changes but grade is generally below 10%.

Ginger Nealon has been with Astoria Parks and Recreation’s Fitness Division since July of 2018. She gets rave reviews from her Core, Yoga and Stability Circuits attendees and has been described by her class as “aware, patient and fun to follow.” Ginger is talented in an array of different fitness disciplines and is an absolute asset to our entire Department. Howard Rub, Athletic Director for Astoria School District, has been a long term supporter and partner of the Parks Department.  Coach Rub’s eagerness to share resources, promote programs, and foster student athletes who assist us as sports officials and life guards have helped the Department achieve many of our goals.  We greatly appreciate Howard’s dedication to our community and his drive to help us succeed.  Thank you Coach Rub!
