Adult fitness classes are all held at the ARC.

Here is a list of the classes we offer for adult fitness:

  • BOSU/Core Strength: Incorporating the BOSU as a tool, this resistance workout class combines traditional weight training with balance and functional stabilization effectively firing up the neuromuscular system.  No Choreography and levels are beginner, intermediate, and advance.  No impact.
  • Boot Camp: This class is designed for people who want a strong and healthy sweat but no dancing.  Back-to-Basic movement patterns, cardio interval drills and muscle endurance weight training produce an effective, calorie-burning workout.  Participants are instructed on ow to modify exercises up or down to meet their fitness level.  No Choreography and levels are beginner, intermediate, and advance.  Impact is mixed.
  • Zumba: High energy and motivation music makes this easy-to-follow Latin dance/aerobics class fun and a great workout.  Choreography is moderate and impact is mixed.  Levels are beginner, intermediate, and advanced.
  • Cardio Kickboxing:  Rounds of kickboxing combinations mixed with intervals of speed endurance, skill, skill and polymetric moves make for a high energy, high caloric output hour of fun!  Easy modifications for varying levels of fitness.  Choreography is none and impact is mixed.  Levels are beginner and intermediate.
  • Yoga:  Classes are mixed level classes and include a combination of breath work (pranayama), postures (asana), mediation and relaxation.  Classes may incorporate a variety of yoga styles and poses.  Instructors will offer modifications for poses.
  • Studio Cycling:  Group exercise class done on stationary bikes.  During the class the instructor simulates a ride.  Together, you travel on flat roads, climb hills, sprint and race!  It is truly a fantastic cardiovascular class.
  • Open Cardio/Open Stretch:  Enjoy time to cycle away or stretch on your own!  Our fitness studios are open to you during times that classes are not scheduled!  Stop by for Drop-In Fee prices or utilize the great benefits of your Land and Water Pass!

Prices for Adult Fitness are:

  • Punch Pass Price $4
  • Land & Water Pass FREE

 

We also offer Child Care while you workout!  Times for Child Care are Mondays - Saturdays from 8:45am - 11:00am and Monday - Friday from 5:15pm - 7:30pm.  Price is $4 for cash and $3 for punch pass.
